What I Love About Fall – Day 4

Day 4!!

Today I’ll be talking about what I love about fall, here’s my top 10 things I love about it!

1) The Fall Look

I love the trees and the leaves, there is nothing better than going for a walk in the park on a nice fall morning and looking at all the leaves that have changed to beautiful colours and watching them fall from the trees!! It so amazing and one of my favourite things ever.! The best pictures can be taken, its great and is my favourite thing about fall!

2) It’s getting cold..

Cold weather is my all time favourite, I love it so much. I’m definitely more excited this year because of the killer weather we had all summer!. It’s still not that cold but I cant wait to layer my clothes and wrap myself in 20 different blankets, it’ll be so amazing!!.

3) Clothes

I love wearing warm jumpers, hats and scarfs, I’m literally obsessed with them all! But my most favourite of all is layering my clothes, I think it is the best thing ever and just looks so good. No matter what they always look so good!. Also boots they look so amazing and who doesn’t wear boots during fall?

4) Warm drinks

There is nothing better than making a warm drink and sitting down with a book and a blanket at the fire. Me personally I don’t drink hot drinks unless I’m cold so I look forward to that!.

5) Walks

What is better than cold weather? walks in cold weather! Either really late at night or really early in the morning is my favourite because that’s when it’s really cold. At night has to be my favourite though because after a long day you can just wrap up, grab the dog and walk around in the lovely fresh air, it’s so amazing!

6) Halloween

I am not a huge Halloween fan but this year my niece is going to be 15 months and I can’t wait to see her dressed up and go trick or treating with her because I lost the excitement of Halloween a few years ago but now i have it to look forward to because i get to experience it with my favourite little girl!.

7) Pumpkin’s

I love craving pumpkins so much and that’s something I really look forward to during fall time! I cant wait to do it this year!!

8) Winter is coming

It’s fall now which means winter is close and I just love winter sooo much, so people might hate me for this but Christmas is coming…!!

9) Halloween Movies..

love love love some Halloween movies.. but I’ve got a post coming on that later!

10) Disney

I would love to visit Disneyland/world during this time because it looks amazing and I just love looking through pictures and seeing what it looks like and all that!

October Goals – Day 2

Welcome to day 2 of blogtober, today I’m going to be talking about my new goals for this month. It was only in August I started to set monthly goals and I’m already stopping and here’s why.

Dont get me wrong I think its great people set goals for every month and do all they can to achieve their goals and people do amazing at them every month but it’s not for me. I do have goals I want to achieve but I want them to be things I can build up on and not all about numbers. Most goals people set are to hit a certain following by the end of the month on their blogs or social medias and I just don’t really want to focus on that. My goals are to better my self and this is a goal I’m always going to have and possibly might never fully achieve it.

There is only 3 months left of this year and I want to take this time to make myself better, I want to be healthier, work on my confidence and just concentrate on my work so I can go into a new year with the right happy mind-set and be ready to enjoy the new year. I’m choosing these as my goals instead of saying i want to hit 1,000 on Instagram or whatever because i feel that when you set that goal it’s all you think about and at the end of the day its a number and if we keep focusing on numbers we’ll never get anywhere. Instead of bettering my following i want to better myself. This was a short post today but an exciting one is coming tomorrow!

P U R E By PS

Primark are back with a brand new make-up line and I’m so excited! Recently Primark’s make-up game has been on another level and there is so many of their products I love and use regularly!. Whenever they come out with new products I usually buy one or two of them and do a review for you guys so here’s my review of P U R E!

I picked up a liquid lipstick & the eyeshadow palette because they were so pretty and I knew I’d get use out of them both!

Also available in the in the line:

A face palette; 3 highlight shades & 1 contour

2 shades of liquid lipsticks

2 shades of single highlighters

A portable mirror

4 shades of liquid highlighters

3 eye pigments

12 shades eyeshadow palette

Liquid lipstick:

I love liquid lipsticks, they are definitely something I always want to get more of because they are amazing and this one definitely falls under amazing. I love the colour so much, you could easily match it with many different eye looks! You could use it for an everyday look or glam it up! The glitter makes it stand out, it applies so good and is definitely one of my favourites. I also loved the packaging and the shape of the bottle it’s so pretty and tops the whole thing off! I would definitely recommend this, and I’m so sorry I didn’t pick up the other shade too!

Eyeshadow palette:

Eyeshadow palette’s are definitely my favourite make-up products, I love them so much, they are always the prettiest!. First, let’s talk about the layout, the shapes are amazing and I just love how they laid it out, it’s beautiful!. The second I opened this palette I fell in love with the colours they were all so beautiful and I could literally picture in my head the amount of eye looks that could be created with this palette. There is so much pigment in each shade and it blends so nicely. The glitter shades are definitely my favourites!. As well as it being hands down a fabulous palette it is also light and what I mean by light is when it’s on it doesn’t feel heavy on your skin or eyes, I find a lot of makeup is like this but not this palette. Also it wipes away nice and easy, you know after a long day of wearing makeup and you can’t wait to go home and just take it off? And when you scrub your eyes so much trying to wipe away the makeup that it starts to hurt and irritate you because of the rubbing? Well not this one! It rubs off so nice and gently and it’s amazing! Only €6 and it’s just amazing!!!

Blogtober starts Monday so I’ll see you then!❤️

Skin Care Tips

Happy Monday everyone! So from now on I’ll only be doing beauty on Monday’s (hopefully) depending on how it all works out but anyways, if you know me you’ll know I’m skin care mad, skin care over makeup any day, I love having my skin nice and clear makes me so much better about myself and I just love it!! Today I’ll be sharing my top tips for skin care!

1. Natural natural natural

My number one tip is to try to always just use natural products, they are so much better for your skin than any of the things you buy in shops. I make my own face masks & scrubs using things I have in my kitchen and it makes my skin softer, brighter and healthier than any bottled products I’ve ever bought has! I will do some posts in the future about the face masks and scrubs if you want to try them out or just want a little inspiration on what to put into them! But honestly this is the biggest tip of all keep it as natural as you possibly can, and the best thing about making them yourself is you know exactly what’s going into them and how they are made.

2. Water

I know you see this everywhere and it’s a boring tip you didn’t want to hear but honestly if you want nice clear glowing skin then you need your water! I’ve seen my skin with and without me drinking water and it’s safe to say I haven’t gone a day without having some kind of water intake but I noticed when I drink it a lot throughout the day like bottle after bottle it really shows on my skin, so I’d highly recommend you to make sure you are getting some kind of a daily water intake!

3. Sunscreen

You literally need to wear sunscreen every single day of the year, it benefits your skin so much because it protects your skin while you are out and around. Wearing sunscreen all year round is meant to protect your skin from the bad air and weather all around, also it’s meant to keep your skin younger and wrinkle free. I would highly recommend applying it daily!

4. Remove Makeup

I know this is obvious but makeup is bad for your skin and it can cause huge breakouts more so if you don’t wash it off right or at all! If you wear makeup daily make sure you don’t go to sleep till you are sure it’s off your face or you’ll wake up with spots that you definitely don’t want. Aswell I know when you come home from a night out or a long day removing your makeup isn’t on the top of your list but it should be, if you want clear and nice skin then you need to put in the effort and sit down to remove it all till you are wiping nothing.

5. Products

The products that you use is definitely the most important thing, I know so many people like testing and trying new things but honestly I think if you’ve found something you like and it goes well with your skin then you should just use them products because if you start trying loads of new things and stuff you could get reactions or breakouts and it’ll just ruin your skin and bring right back to the start again!

6. Food

I know everyone says it but it’s so true what you eat helps your skin, if you want super nice, glowing and health skin then you have to watch what you eat and try eat more foods that benefit and help your skin! Because foods can cause breakouts too.

7. DIY

Like I said doing your scrubs, face masks and cleansers by yourself at home is so much better because you know exactly what you are putting on your skin and if it’s bad for your skin or not, you could buy bottled stuff and literally be putting anything on your face.

8. Your hands!!

No matter how many times a day you wash your hands you shouldn’t touch your face, we use our hands for everything and everything comes with dirt and germs, our hands are always picking it all up and by touching your face you are literally passing it all from your hands to your face and it will cause a breakout of black/white heads!

9. Vitamins

Along with eating foods to help your skin, you also need your vitamins this will help clear it and give it a glow. It doesn’t matter if your skin gets these vitamins naturally through your foods or you buy boxes of vitamins and take the amount required daily as long as you have some kind of vitamin intake.

10. Facials

I know they can be very expensive but I promise they are worth it if you get the right one for your skin, always ask what they would recommend for your skin before actually getting it, some people get monthly facials others get seasonal ones, but I do think they help your skin so much, when I got my first one I didn’t expect it to do much but it was amazing, it cleared and brightened up my skin so much!

Let me know if any of these tips worked for you!

Plan a concert outfit with me

Happy Saturday, this was meant to go up yesterday but I had a busy day and didn’t find the time to write it and I also didn’t want to rush it so I gave myself an extra few hours to write it! As you may or may not know I love going to concerts, I’m literally always at them and I always want to wear something different to them all so today I’ll be sharing with you how I plan my concert outfits.

Normally I don’t plan them till about 1/2 weeks before the concert so that they are new in shops and stuff, sometimes I’m literally only walking around getting things the day before the concert but normally it depends on the concert because I have ideas for different concert like Ed Sheeran I went to him in May and I knew I wanted to wear a jumpsuit to it so it was just a matter of finding a jumpsuit I liked, also there is no harm is planning ahead if you have your tickets and you are just shopping around and you see a nice top on sale or a skirt you could always get it and save it up for the concert and then closer to the time find something to go with it, but anyways here’s step by step how I do it!

First thing I normally do is go to Instagram & Pinterest for inspiration using these two platforms normally gives me an idea of what kind of look I’m going for and the kind of things I want to look out for online or when I’m shopping, looking for inspiration is the best thing you can do because although you mightn’t wear what you’ve found it might give you an idea for something completely different. Also at concerts you can literally go wild with your outfit I think the more unique the better!

Once I kind of have some idea of what I want to wear I usually look in my local H&M and Primark for the clothes I want but if they don’t have anything normally I go onto boohoo.com or prettylittlething.com and search for the clothes and I always find something weather it be what I was looking for or something completely different. Shopping around definitely helps inspire you too because if you see something new maybe you’ll want to wear that and match it with something other than what you’ve planned in your head.

Then when I have the bits I want obviously I buy them, try them all together and see if there is anything I want to change, if so I just do it all again, look for something new to go with it and keep doing it till I find the perfect outfit for me!

Here’s a few tips:

– always be open to different ideas, just because you’ve one idea in your head doesn’t mean you shouldn’t think of other possible looks, if you go into a shop and they don’t have what you want and you see some really nice clothes instead of sticking to what you originally wanted think of ways you could style the clothes you did find in the shop.

– for me I think it’s better to have your outfit all set before the concert, that’s why it’s important to try it all on together before hand to make sure you like so on the day of the concert you aren’t running around trying to change it and find something new to wear, I really think this is important, it definitely is for me because all concerts I go to are in Dublin and I live like one and half / two hours away so on concert days I need to be really to go and hope on the bus/train to get there on time.

– don’t be afraid to be bold, concerts are literally the happiest place on earth, it’s where a couple hundred/thousands people who all love the same music come to have the time of their lives, and I think a concert is the only place you can really be bold and wear whatever you want to wear because no one judges, they all just came to listen to music not judge people.

Have you any upcoming concerts you are going to or would like to go to? Let me know in the comments
I’m hoping I’ll be going to Why Don’t We in October, then I’ve Nicki Minaj, Shawn Mendes & The Vamps next March, April & May and I’m so excited!!
