School, College, Future.

Today’s post is going to be different from my others, it’s about school, college and future. So as you may or may not know I am homeschooled, I have been for a little over a year now. In Ireland we have our Junior Cert cycle which I have done and our Leaving Cert cycle which I’ve yet to do, so the Junior Cert is a three year course then a year break (if you want) then the Leaving Cert is two years, currently I am on the year break and have yet to decide if I’d like to return to school and continue to finish school off and do the Leaving Cert. I thought about just going back and doing it and getting it over with now so if I do want to go to college id have the option then my Mam told me about the fetac levels and how I could build myself up to get into college and I was so up to that, the leaving Cert didn’t even exist to me anymore.

Fetac is a course with different levels, you choice what you want to study and if you pass and get to level 6 you can go to college and study what you’ve been doing in the fetac, which is what I really want to do and I hope to do it.

I’ve a big interest in business and social media marketing, things like that which I hope to study and built a career out of.

So last Thursday I attended a seminar in Athlone, which was all about being homeschooled, going to do your junior and leaving Cert and other ways to go to college without them. It went on from 10:30am-3pm, it had various speakers and was very interesting, I learned a good bit about my options and what I can do. I’m just hoping I’ll be able to do what I want to do.

A couple of months ago I told myself I was going back to do the leaving Cert end of story, I convinced myself it was the only way I could get into college, do good and make a career because that’s what everyone is told, you need your leaving Cert for everything and without it you’ll get no where, we never got told you could study something you loved and had an interest in and make a career from that instead of trying to balance 5/6 subjects and make sure to get 5 passes (think that’s the amount). This is definitely the way I wanna go and that seminar really helped me out about it.

My Mam also said I could take another year out of school and just built my blog because it’s something I really wanna do but I think it’ll drag it out too much and getting my studies done at a young age is better!

Ask I think I’m gonna start posting every Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday. What do you think?

Niall Horan

On Monday the 12th I attended Niall Horan’s concert in the 3arena for his flicker tour, it was amazing! Loved him since way back in the early one direction days and seeing him solo was so different but so amazing, his voice is so beautiful and seeing him standing alone with his guitar and voice was something unforgettable, it was that good! There wasn’t a soul that didn’t enjoy themselves, literally wish I was going on the 29th aswell!

Heres a very bad picture, I was far back because it was kinda a last minute choice but it didn’t matter where I was I enjoyed it so much. Probably the worst picture ive seen in my life but sure haha!

my outfit;

Jeans – H&M

Jacket – Primark

Shoes – Primark

Bodysuit – Primark

Sun Glasses are Primark too I believe.

Choker – River Island

sorry for bad pics!

I’m back with a new Primark beauty line, this one is called ‘NUDES’ and it’s amazing, first of I love the packaging. So I just picked up the highlight & contour kit, a lip kit and some fake nails.

                                                    Highlight & Contour kit

The kit comes with 3 different products and a brush, the 3 products are a cream highlighter duo, brow highlighter and cream contour duo. All for €8. The brush surprised me, I didn’t think It would be that good or blend the contour at all but it did a pretty good job. The contour itself blended nicely and it went onto my face easy and clear, I have yet to try the highlighters but the contour is amazing. Love the shades too!

             Lip Kit

That little dash in the lip gloss is annoying me so much! but anyways I was impressed the last PS lip product I tried wasn’t the best, it was really wet and sticky, also didn’t smell the best but they’ve defiantly improved, it’s a lovely colour, apply’s nice, doesn’t feel heavy on the lips and smells very sweet! Lip kits are €4 and I got the shade ‘Mesmerise’.

                                                        Fake Nails

Also picked up some nude fake nails for €1.50 which I’ll use at some point!

which of my posts do you enjoy the most? ( Beauty, Fashion, Travel or Lifestyle).

London – Day 4

My last day is London was probably my favorite even tho I didn’t do much, so we woke up early and had breakfast and wanted to make the most of our last day, and I got to pick what we did, and I chose to go see the Chelsea FC Stadium, and it was amazing, I loved it! The tour was about 2 hours, and we were about 30/40 minutes away from our hotel, so once we were done we went back to our hotel, got our bags then headed to the enterprise again and got some food before our 2 hour drive to the airport, our flight was at 9, and then we had another 2 hour drive home from the airport in Dublin, so a lot of traveling was done, so nothing that exciting, tomorrow I’ll do a full blog post on just the Chelsea Stadium!!

London – Day 3

Like every other day, up early, get breakfast and just go.

Day 3 was a lot more eventful than the day before. So on Sunday myself and my Mam went on a mad adventure trying to be tourists and seeing as much of London as we possibly could, we went on a wild walk around the places looking for the bus stop which turned out to be right across the road to our hotel so that was fun and amazing exercise!. As soon as we found it our bus arrived, we hopped on and headed to Hyde Park. Our plan was to just walk around see as much as we could that’s exactly what we did and to make it even better, it rained, so we walked for ages in the rain. Our first stop was Buckingham Palace, sadly we missed the changing of the guards, maybe next time.

                                                             Buckingham Palace.

As soon as be managed to get out of the Palace grounds we went on to the London eye. But as we were leaving the Palace grounds we say some guards out around.

                                               Guards outside Buckingham Palace

On our way to the London Eye we ended up at the Women’s March.

                                                  Women’s March London 2018.

Sadly the London Eye wasn’t working as was closed for that whole weekend. But we got such a nice view of it!

                                                           London Eye.

Then we went onto Big Ben and of course something was wrong with Big Ben too!! We got there and he was fully covered and wasn’t visible at all!

                                                              Big Ben.

Did I mention it also snowed?, so after going around to them all in the rain and snow we decided to go back to our hotel, and again another big walk! We walked from the London Eye to Holborn and we went the longest way possible. While we were doing that my dad and the rest of my family were off shopping all day.

When we got back to Holborn we went and got something small to eat, changed our clothes and headed to Primark! It was so big and amazing!

After looking around we headed back to my dad who was at our hotel, we just sat around for a while and then we went for dinner in our family’s hotel, I wasn’t really feeling the hotel food so I didn’t have anything, I got McDonald’s on the walk back to our hotel. Literally nothing like our McDonald’s at all!!
