Revolution London

Revolution London

Happy Thursday!,

So I picked up 3 new revolution london products in superdrug. I got a highlighter palette, conceal palette and a lip kit.

Revolution London – Soph x – Highlighter Palette

Highlighter palette which was €9.00 and has 8 different shades and the colours are amazing, the bottom row is probably my favourite colours they are just so pretty and really pigmented and im not like a huge fan of highlighters like everyone else, like i rarely use highlighter when i do wear make-up but I’ll defiantly be using this palette from now on! you can purchase it online here.

Revolution London – Pro HD – Conceal Palette

As well as the highlighter, the conceal palette has 8 shades, light – medium. They have pretty good coverage and doesn’t feel too heavy on the face, the first shade is probably my favourite of the 8. I can’t find it online but I think it was about €9.00 as well as the highlighter palette. And the mirror on the palette is so amazing and clear, i love it so much.

Revolution London – Lip Kit

So along with the two palettes I picked up a lip kit. im not sure of the shade because i threw away the box and the shade isnt wrote on the lipstick itself so we’ll go with some shade of purple i think it might have been royal or something but anyways, it’s very long-lasting, once it’s on its on, also can’t find it online and think it was about €4/€5, and im pretty sure they have more shades!

See you Tuesday,

This Is Ireland – Waterford

First post of my This Is Ireland series, I started in Waterford and i didn’t get that much done because i literally only decided to go that morning and didnt have it planned at all and i just wanted to jump straight into it so i will be re-doing Waterford and spending more time planning and doing things.

Where I did go;

– Tramore Beach.

– Latcadio Hearn Japanese Gardens.

– Waterford City.

LATCADIO HEARN JAPANSESE GARDENS

These Japanese Gardens have a unique story behind them, they reflect elements of gardening traditions of the countries and cultures traversed by Lafcadio Hearn during his varied life. (Patrick) Lafcadio Hearn (1850-1904) was a gifted writer and first became famous when he moved to Japan and also changed his name to Koizumi Yokumo, the gardens follow his journey from Greece to Ireland then to America and the gardens reflects this in design, choice of plants and particularly in visage of rocks. ” In order to comprehend the beauty of a japanese garden, it is necessary to understand – or at least to learn to understand the beauty of stones” – Hearn. The idea for the gardens came about in 2012 when his great-grandson visited T for the summer, and it was opened in 2015. Each garden has a story behind it about a period of his life, starting with The Victorian Garden which represents his childhood summers in Tramore, which he loved so much.

Garden’s

  1. Victorian Garden
  2. Transition Garden
  3. The American Journey
  4. The Greek Garden
  5. Arrival in Japan
  6. The Stream Garden
  7. Woodlands
  8. The Garden Of Peace & Harmony
  9. The Living God
  10. Journey’s End

along with 10 gardens there is two little games for kids, with finding different fairy doors all around the gardens and another with another sheet of different things to find around the gardens.

prices: adult – €5, child (under 12) – FREE.

guided tour (45min) €7.50 per person (4 adults max)

School Tours (all ages) €3.00 per child.

you can also get passes and become an annual friend all the information is on their website: lafcadiohearngardens.com

TRAMORE BEACH

As soon as we finished in the Japanese gardens we headed to the beach, we didn’t do much just a walk along the beach, some arcade games, little bit in the fun fair and then some food.

For those of you who don’t know about Tramore it is located in Waterford City, Ireland which I think is about 20/30 minutes from the city, you can also get public transport to and from the beach. It has a lovely big beach, a fun fair, one or two shops, food places and a donut bar, along with two arcades. It is also literally every irish family’s tradition every year in the summer when you go to Tramore you get a take away in Dooley’s which is without a doubt the most amazing place ever!!!

WATERFORD CITY

Waterford is about two hours from Dublin and you can get bus or train to and from Waterford. We just went for a bit of shopping in the City and also were going to go to the Waterford Castle but it was closed for a private event so we couldn’t. Two little facts about Waterford, it is one of Ireland’s oldest towns, founded by the Vikings they called it weather fjord.

OTHER THINGS TO DO IN WATERFORD

  • Waterford Museum Of Treasures
  • Reginald’s Tower
  • Waterford Castle
  • Waterford Viking Triangle
  • House Of Waterford Crystal
  • Cathedral Of Most Holy Trinity
  • Greyfriars Municipal Gallery
  • Ballyback Castle
  • Geneva Barracks

I will be going back to do more at some point but any questions let me know! that’s it for Waterford… Kildare is next!

Friday night I went to Ed Sheeran and it was the best concert I’ve ever attended! Out of his 9 Iirsh dates I attended Phoenix Park night 2. The stage layout was amazing and unique, I’ve never seen the stage screens designed so creatively. I literally loved everything about it, the set list, the supporting acts were amazing, and the atmosphere was unreal, I just loved the day. The concert was in the middle of the park so we had a nice walk in the park just before it and it was a lovely day the sun was shining. We got there about 5:30 and there was thousands there.

Stage times;

5:45 Beoga

6:30 Jamie Lawson

7:30 Anne-Marie

17. You need me, I don’t need you

We were straight in front of the stage and literally couldn’t hear a thing and then we moved to the side and seen everything! Over all best concert I’ve been to and if you haven’t been to see Ed you are missing out literally go get tickets now!!

Cien Products

Cien Products

Welcome back to my blog, happy Tuesday, today ill be talking about 3 different skin care and three different hair care products which I believe can only be purchased in Lidl Stores, not fully sure. Also not sure of how much these are but i’m pretty sure they are all under €5, which is an amazing price for such good products. As you can see the products I have are face masks, moisturizer, micellar water, shampoo, conditioner and heat protection spray. i’m going to start with the skin care products and follow with the hair care products.

Micellar Water;

I love it, it contains a lot more natural ingredients than other micellar water’s. It’s a really good cleanser/face wash for a bare face, in my opinion it’s not the best for removing makeup, i feel like it just doesn’t do the job i want it to do with removing my makeup, but as a normal cleanser and face wash i find it amazing and love it, i use it daily and it really has hydrated my skin, make it glow and super soft! I literally never thought i would change cleansers from what i was using because it was so good and helped with my acne so much but then i found this and it’s just as amazing!

Moisturizer;

This moisturizer is very similar to the Nivea soft which is amazing and one I always use, two of the nicest moisturizer’s you can get, its honestly amazing. Use it once and your skin will be unbelievably soft, no joke! I havent decided which I like better yet to be honest, i still use both and they are really good and i’d recommend them both. I think this one is more creamier and rubs in so well, it also dries fairly fast!

img_1573.jpg

Face Mask’s;

One is for my Mam, but i’ve yet to try the face masks, I’ll let you know what it’s like when I do use it! and im pretty sure they were only a couple cent each!

Shampoo & Conditioner;

Probably one of my favourite shampoo’s, end result from using it was amazing. My hair was super soft and had a lovely shin to it same with the conditioner, both amazing products.

img_1568.jpg

Heat Protection Spray;

I don’t use that much heat on my hair only if im going out, I let my hair naturally dry as much as I can but when i do use heat and make sure to spray my hair with this first and it really does protect my hair from the heat, i’ve been using this product for over a year now and find it great!
